Power Rankings: April 10-16

We've played a full week of fantasy baseball; wasn't it glorious? Half of us won, half of us lost, but all of us enjoyed the Twins' incredible 5-1 start to the season. They could still be eliminated from playoff contention before June, but when the Twins are good, baseball is a little sweeter.

Your rankings, compiled by Troy Balego and Jamaal Gilbert:

1. Monkey Terrorists

Huge effort in Week 1 from the Terrorists. Scary thought: Pedroia and Miggy only combined for 14 of the team's 389 points. Look out!

2. Old Style

Ground out a win Week 1, but the record-setting team from last week should be a top scorer most weeks going forward.

3. Trojan Horses

A really nice week from a team whose front-line starters all got double-starts. We'll see what kind of scoring they can do when they're not relying more on quality than volume.

4. Jabad's Sheep

Brandon Belt played like Barry Bonds week 1. A strong lineup, elite closers and decent starters should make this a tough team each week.

5. Mayhem Like Mike

If Keuchel and Teheran are truly elite, we'll see Mike's team hang around this range all year. Incredible week from those two.

6. Mazarati

82 points combined for Greg Holland and Cam Bedrosian probably won't happen again. Arenando leads what could be one of the best lineups in the league. Will need to add another pitcher or 2 to contend for a playoff spot.

7. Suck it, Zeus

More like defending CHUMP. Sometimes the terrible, low-class joke is what a team deserves.

8. Frank Underwood

Week 1 went about as well as it possibly could have for this team. Outside of Tanaka everyone over-performed. Don't look for week 1 production every week for this team. Lance will need to make a trade or 2 to compete. Unfortunately he doesn't have any relatives in this league.

9. Strange Brew

A lot of poor performances from good players on this roster. Silver lining: Jason Heyward is hitting .333! He's back!

10. Honey Roasted Peanuts

Week 1 was a sign of things to come for this team. After dominating for years behind the strongest rotation in the league Paul lost all depth behind Sale and Kershaw. Weeks those 2 don't have a double start should make this team very beatable.

11. Papelbon's Bulldog

Disappointing start for Liriano and Vincent Velasquez, and the lineup is built on inconsistent hitters. Gonna need more than that from the arms.

12. Madison Muskies

-8 points from Sam Dyson didn't help. This team may have some of the worse pitching depth in the league but should do better most weeks

13. Silent Scream

Complete power outage from Scott's squad — just four homers in 202 at bats. Plus, his pair of Josés (Abreu/Altuve) combined for just 21 points. Might end up a season-low.

14. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This team had a good showing Week 1 but Nate has shown no capability of staying engaged long enough to build a playoff contending team.  Lots of guys that should be able to help out Paul when he acquires them a ripoff trade later this season.

Anyone is able to contribute; let me know if you're interested in writing a few teams. Have a great Holy Week!
