2023 NCU Fantasy Football | Week 10 Picks

Chaos! UTTER Chaos! There are ten teams in our league with winning records. Even Liddiard has a winning record! Four of these teams with winning records will be playing golf instead of enjoying postseason football. Who is the wheat and who is the chaff? Pay attention and find out.

Madison's Finest @ We Are Terrible

Nate and Jamaal are both 6-3 and tied for the division lead in the IOLTA division. Only one of Jamaals six key players in his lineup is not from the Big Ten (Burrow attended OSU, so he counts). I don't know why I find that interesting, but I do. Nate is a perfect 5-0 against the IOLTA and a dreadful 1-3 against the rest of the league. I think that changes this week as Jamaal's Big Ten Ballers have excellent matchups vs. the Texans, Vikings, and Giants while Nate's warriors face the Bills and Ravens. Jamaal 98-89. — Matt Hurm

Serenity Now! @ Jabad's Sheep

Besides Lamb and Pollard, Serenity Now is a clown show. What a joke of a lineup. I get that Paul has given up on the year, but have some self-respect. Brandon Powell? Jabad's season has not been perfection in motion, but he is trying to win, so I pick Jabad 75-64.  — Matt Hurm

Country Bear Jamboroo @ Trojan Horses

The bye week is creating some serious problems for Troy, who is inexplicably 5-4... but was able to squeak out a victory versus Chris' Laces Out last week. Thankfully for him, Amy has her own worries with A.J. Brown out and Tee Higgins still recovery. Expect a victory for the Men of Troy, 87-82.   — Jamaal Gilbert

Laces Out @ All Mahomies

Looks to me like All Mahomies is catching Chris on a super tough week... lots of bye week sore spots for Laces Out. Nick wins going away, 91 - 76. — Jamaal Gilbert

Fighting Minnow @ Figment's Fart

Obviously, Matt wins this one by 50+. Nothing to evaluate, nothing to determine. Minnow mash, 103-57.  — Jamaal Gilbert

Clear Eyes Full Hearts @ Hurts Locker

I'm all in on Drew on weeks that he has a competent QB... and I think maybe that Brock Purdy counts. Not totally sure, but maybe. Drew's Clear Eyes win it by a narrow 83-82 margin. — Jamaal Gilbert

The Numbers @ Joseph Addai

Lance leads the series 6-3-1. That has to hack off Liddiard a little. But will it change? Yes. Lance is foolishly putting all his eggs in the C.J. Stroud basket when he has only had one performance over 22 points. Recency bias is a real problem and Lance has it. I hate Liddiard's matchups (Ravens vs. Browns?!), but Lamar Jackson should double up Stroud in scoring and the lead will be too much to overcome. Lidds 90-76. — Matt Hurm

Garbage @ The Algorithm

A battle for second in the Gerby division. I like Finney's matchups far better than Chris' this week and there is always a chance Chris will go hunting again and not set his lineup, so I am picking Finney 91-76.  — Matt Hurm

See you next week!
